“Extreme delays” is the word my attorneys used. My petition was shipped on May 4th and I received the receipt notice on Jun 21st. The receipt notice says they started reviewing my petition on Jun 16th. (California Service Center)

same here. it is suppose to take 10 days per uscis to get notice after they receive the perition. it took almost a month till i got mine.

waittttt, it took a month even though you went through premium processing?? Arent you guaranteed an answer within 15 days through premium processing? Sorry, I'm going through the process myself \[cap exempt, premium processing, day 8 since petition was received at Cali\] and the anxiety is killing me.

My lawyer refused to apply for premium for me as well and I wanted to pay the $2500. But got receipt notice with 2 weeks of submitting the petition

Thanks for posting the question and thank you all for sharing your experience. I had a couple of H-1B extensions delivered (one one June 1, 2022 and one one June 3, 2022) to USCIS California Service Center via FedEx. I was a bit concerned because I haven't received the receipt notices as of today.

Yes, they were both filed under regular processing.
