Excellent-Macaron233

Wait, I'm only a couple pages in. If the killer walked right past D at 4:20 or whatever why did they wait til 11 to call the cops?I'm super confused

MaizeBlueRedWings

I just love that this (alleged) monster almost certainly didn’t know that his 3rd cousin uploaded their DNA to GEDmatch.com or something and helped lead to his arrest. Shout out to that family member!

CheddarBayHazmatTeam

I have to imagine a lot of people have uploaded their DNA specifically to determine who in their family is a murderer.

randomuttering

So if you detest a cousin that looks kinda murdery, promptly upload your DNA (and make sure you yourself never commit a serious crime).

Real_Implement8605

Does anyone know if they are required to tell Bryan why (evidence) he's been arrested ? If that was me, you'd see eyes swollen shut from hysterically crying and screaming. I'd be flippin out if I didn't do it. Never could I remain that calm

randomuttering

You won’t be screaming after a day. Even little children eventually stop crying when they realize no one’s listening.

[deleted]

Yeah. Whoever is defending him has it already which is why they been at the crime scene already. They hired a guy who knows his shit. I don't think they have blood DNA. If its not blood these guys are going to put on a show. Matt Noedel is part of their team. He has a history of getting people off I believe. Dont quote me on that. Maybe getting off is the wrong term but creating reasonable doubt. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lF43q54qUpI

Unlucky-Cover2345

Yes in fact that’s part of the reason we don’t have the affidavit of probable cause just yet. They must present it to him first in the state of Idaho by law.

MaizeBlueRedWings

Absolutely they are. It’s called discovery, and all defendants are required to be presented with all evidence against them.

gofundmemetoday

Weird to think that there’s a 99.999% chance he will never leave Idaho.

The_Donny_Lebowski

I mean, he'll eventually leave.... In a body bag.

randomuttering

If you added a couple more nines or removed a couple, no one would notice.

Leafblower91

Morning y’all!! Let’s see that PCA plz

Soggy-Ad-8017

Wakey wakey America. Need that PCA

HillAuditorium

Sure, but it's not that hard to see how the dots were connected. He left DNA at the scene of the crime. A white elantra was described around the time of the murders. AncestralDNA from a 3rd cousin was used to find him. He follows KG on instagram. Who else could it be?

gofundmemetoday

It was more than adequate to initiate SWAT in PA.

PM_ME_UR_SOCKS_GIRL

What’s a PCA?

[deleted]

Probable Cause Affidavit - it’s essentially a document describing the evidence they have that has allowed them to charge Bryan with a particular crime.

TheKubernetes

With regards to forensic evidence that LE has likely uncovered in the last few days, I keep thinking about how bloody and gruesome the scene of the murders must have been. We already know there was so much blood it was leaking out the exterior wall of the house. If BCK committed the murder and drove back in his Elantra immediately after, there was likely a considerable amount of victim blood on his hands, clothes hair, shoes, etc. Not just drops here and there, but literally soaked/covered. Given the judges gag order, we probably won't find out what forensic evidence was found in the Elantra and BCK apartment until the trial. But I have to imagine it is close to 100% impossible for BCK to have cleaned his car/home/clothes/shoes so thoroughly that no additional forensic evidence was found in the last few days.

AReckoningIsAComing

PCA comes out today.

PM_ME_UR_SOCKS_GIRL

I know they have a significant amount of evidence against the guy, but I can’t help but think how fucked up this case would be if BK isn’t actually the killer. If it’s not him, the actual killer is probably celebrating right now.

AReckoningIsAComing

It’s very likely him.

HillAuditorium

Just a week ago idiots here were browsing and reporting random sedan white cars to the FBI tipline. People here are worthless. All you do is waste the FBI's time.

I_am_Nobody_Special

>People here are worthless. Yet here you are.

HillAuditorium

I'm not reporting useless things to the FBI

Cop-n-meesh

My personal favorite was people finding white elantras on Google maps images from 2019 and asking “dO yOu ThiNk tHiS iS tHe MuRdErEr?!”

Leafblower91

Lmao that was probs my fave too

PeriPeri_Cries

When I see Bryan I see Entin

throwmeaway57689

Just jumped from a genealogy comment to a traffic stop comment and it occurred to me… wonder if it was his dad that had submitted his DNA to one of those ancestry sites?

AuntieAthena

I’m guessing a second or third female cousin, once or twice removed. They said a genealogist had to build a tree. IMHO, women tend to be more interested in family history than men, especially men of the dad’s generation. It might have also been one of BK’s sisters. There’s a cousin (by marriage) who said Kohberger’s father MK had a very large family. Chances are there’s a family history buff in there somewhere who had submitted her DNA to Ancestry.com or 23 & Me, etc. And remember, the ancestry database doesn’t have to cooperate. The sample can be submitted by LE as just a 30- year-old John Doe in Moscow, ID or Peoria, who wants to know more about his family. The company just processed it like any other customer.

tonybeetzzz

These sites require you to fill up a tube with your saliva, like a lot of your saliva. How would they do that?

detroit_0

NGL bryan doesn't look that strong. At 6ft 185 lbs, that's not that heavy. I'd like to see him take on someone who actually goes to the gym and see how tough he is.

[deleted]

Relevance of this is what?

Whatafuxup

He’s been boxing for 12 years, he would be able to beat most normal people in a fight. People really underestimate what training vs no training looks like in a fight

HillAuditorium

I watch quite a bit of mma. There are dudes such as Max Holloway or Sean O Malley who look like lanky dudes who dont work out, but they will completely beat you up.

Whatafuxup

yeap for sure. and plus, 6'0 185 is still bigger than average. so he's a bigger than average dude with fighting training. those kids had no chance.

KlutzyProcedure2523

Everybody waiting for the PCA get ready to be disappointed

Tay-tertot

whyyyy

KlutzyProcedure2523

It will just be generic information like his name and birthday etc imo

AReckoningIsAComing

Yeah, I don’t think you know what a PCA is…

Calligrapher_Far

That’s not what a PCA is…

Soggy-Ad-8017

But that’s not what a PCA is? It is literally a legal document that contains factual justification for why they should make an arrest. The reason why they think he did it.

Early-Chard-1455

I’m wondering which family member they obtained DNA from in order to connect BK to the crime, most likely one of the reasons FBI tailed him for over two weeks , they were awaiting DNA samples to determine whether or not was a match and I would bet the first thing LE did when he landed in Idaho was obtain sample for Bk DNA . I read where only very few states actually allow familial DNA to be used as probable cause due to inaccurate data.

overflowingsunset

i read they had 4 search warrants when he was arrested in PA, one of which included obtaining dna from BK

Early-Chard-1455

I must have misunderstood I thought they had familial DNA match and that’s what led them to obtain arrest warrant other than the vehicle matching the eyewitness description

overflowingsunset

https://finance.yahoo.com/video/authorities-pursued-search-warrant-bryan-233803207.html - Authorities in Pennsylvania pursued three search warrants while surveilling Bryan Kohberger - for his parents' home, his Hyundai Elantra, and his DNA. https://www.wpbf.com/amp/article/bryan-kohberger-idaho-murder-genetic-genealogy/42389434 - Police ran the unknown DNA through the national CODIS DNA database but came up empty because Kohberger had no criminal history. - That’s when sources say police had genetic genealogists upload the samples to a public database such as Family Tree DNA, looking for matching relatives. - Genealogists then built a family tree using birth and death records, census records and other hints until they had a whole tree of that extended family going back generations. - At that point, they move downward from great, great-parents to living people looking to see who is the right age, lives in the area, and could be a possible suspect. - Sources said they narrowed the possible suspects down to Kohberger, and police determined he drove a white Elantra like that seen near the crime scene. - **That’s when the FBI started tracking him and apparently collected some discarded item with Kohberger's DNA on it which police say they’ve positively matched to the crime scene.**

oldgeek123

So many people seem to be against the genealogy thing being used to solve crimes but I say have at it. If we can stop a budding serial killer and save lives, it's worth it to me. People seem to be worried it'll be used in some nefarious way but I have yet to see a compelling argument for this. Someone claimed a fascist government could use it for genocide...like a fascist government has *ever* needed an excuse like that to commit those kinds of atrocities??

MornaAgua

That’s the consensus without seeing the affidavit. But they know it’s a relative at this point, which definitely focuses on Bryan unless he was from Moscow/Pullman (there would be more relatives). Getting his DNA will confirm it’s his even though it’s pretty certain already. And they collect for anyone who is booked for a violent crime.

Early-Chard-1455

It is revealed in the affidavit that the DNA found was of BK father and from what I understand about familial DNA is it is found only in males they use the Y chromosome and it is 99.9 % effective in determining the DNA sequence of the person in question. So basically it has to come from the father. I was just wondering how they obtained his dad’s DNA without tipping BK off that something was up.

overflowingsunset

maybe i have misunderstood lol. i believe they found random dna at the idaho house, used genetic genealogy, did some good old police work to find BK, arrested BK, then got search warrants in PA for his parent’s house, his apartment back home, his dna, and his car.

Tay-tertot

this was my understanding as well.

Early-Chard-1455

Idaho is one of the states that allows familial DNA .

nakedm0lerat

I got the complete opposite impression Also is it not possible that: A) BK is shy/quiet and his Dad is more outgoing and so naturally he does most of the talking B) they are being approached from the passenger side and so it’s just a reaction to answer if you’re closer to the cop

SquiddSyd

Or he could just be an overbearing father that is used to doing the talking for his possibly socially awkward son? That was the vibe I got.

Several_Concentrate7

I think the complete opposite , that his father had no idea about anything.

Jillybeans11

Agreed…the dad gives the police way too much extra information like telling him they’re coming from WSU. Bryan looked so pissed but his dad just kept talking. No way he had any idea what happened!

BraindeadSchlob

Bk said they were on the way to get Thai food and looked like he saw a ghost when his father piped up and said they were actually on the way from WSU to PA. I think the father was clueless.

arlo78z

Possible the parents alerted the authorities about their son, knowing he was sus, lived nearby and had a white elantra. Might help explain why the Dad flew over. What would you do if you knew your weird son lived near a murder and drove the exact car they're looking for? Maybe you'd call him, see how he's doing, maybe then you can tell somethings off and offer to fly over, then maybe you realize it's a possibility and it's your responsibility to make things right.

randomuttering

Very unlikely, parents’ natural instinct being to disbelieve evil in their offspring and protect them even if it stares them in the face.

arlo78z

I agree. A hard pill to swallow. But it'd depend on the character of the parent. It also could have been one of his sisters who initiated it. I think Dads trip is a little out of the ordinary. And someone likely tipped LE about BKs white elantra.

detroit_0

What time do we expect the PCA to be unsealed?

SSkidgoku

What is PCA?

pommyfaye

Probable cause affidavit

staresatsun

Probable cause affidavit

avegansnack

Within the next 48 hours

sarahc55

Are they still unsealing it? I read that Moscow PD issued a statement and would no longer be updating the public per a judge’s request. Curious to see

AReckoningIsAComing

That is unrelated.

Edugan1

in light of the discussion around his hands and what they looked like (scars, etc), what about what his classmates saw? did he come back all beat up? or with the gloves on like the non confirmed tips suggested?

LivingFirst1185

I know we all hate this subject matter on Twitter for the lunatics, but I occasionally look. I'll be kinda share the two good things so no one has to see it. DM's boyfriend gave a sense of relief, and (paraphrasing) something to the effect that people should feel bad for hate speech for DM. The frat boy who had his personal info AND his family's doxxed seemed SO relieved a suspect was caught, and added he'll be accepting apologies. THEN he got trashed again various things like his comment was in poor taste because he mentioned himself but not the victims, and others blaming him saying if he would have posted more details and his alibi he would have saved everyone a lot of grief. Fortunately, looked like half the comments were supporting these two and shaming the morons. Now I've saved all your eyes from being burned by the ridiculousness there so no one else has to look.

Jillybeans11

I haven’t been on in a couple of days so I’m sure this had to have been discussed but I just had a lightbulb moment…he left Murphy alive because he’s a vegan and doesn’t want to harm animals! It’s sad he had no qualms about killing people though

randomuttering

There’s probably no violence consideration in his veganism, only that if most everything you can eat tastes like shït, you are less likely to gain back previously lost blubber.

cactish666

Trying to understand and reason someone’s ethics who committed a mass murder kind of an oxymoron

Professional_Rule761

How long do we think the FBI/PD has been tracking him? Initially I heard 4 days, but with these allegedly orchestrated traffic stops that would put as at minimum 2 weeks. And, if they were already tracking him based off DNA evidence found at the scene, what delayed his arrest once he was in PA?

FundiesAreFreaks

Could be they had the genetic genealogy results pointing at BK, but perhaps the sample they collected without him knowing wasn't yet completed when he started his road trip. Once they're pretty certain they've got their guy, they need to sneak and get something with his DNA on it to seal the deal. They even could've collected his sample while tailing him cross country when he stopped to eat or threw away a cup at one of his stops when he gassed up the car.

ShueTheShoeless

My phone died not too long after the plane landed so I took a little break, but I didnt even think to check on tv. Was the landing and transport to Lahtah County jail on tv anywhere, or just streams on the internet?

neptuno3

Still wanna know if there are unsolved murders in either PA or the Pullman/Moscow area before this (other than the flayed dog).

AKD087

There is an unsolved murder of an older Asian couple out of Carbon County PA [some info here](https://www.poconorecord.com/story/news/regional/2021/06/11/police-second-body-found-carbon-identified/7652388002/) happened in Spring of 2021 I believe. They don't really give much information.

Top-Ad8716

https://www.foxnews.com/us/idaho-murders-third-unsolved-stabbing-attack-resurfaces-amid-college-slaying-mystery —- BK could have been in the area visiting WSU for interviews, etc. 2020 and 2021 are the dates for above murders. Someone also mentioned his WA Drivers License date seemed to be dated before 2022- but I can’t find that source or photo of his DL.

Jbrockin

They are very similar. Im sure cops are looking. Now that they have his DNA, they may get connected by detectives. His Masters at DeSales was online w the well known professor, so technically he could of been anywhere. I agree going to the area to check out the Phd program is a reason to go as well. Bolger told the news outlet that she taught Kohberger in an online class last year and helped him with his master’s thesis at DeSales. “I never saw him in person, I couldn’t tell you how tall he was or how much he weighed, my only interaction with him was via email and Zoom. I didn’t know anything about him, whether he was married, had a girlfriend, etc.,” Bolger told the Daily Mail. Some other ideas about the other killings are that he studied these other stabbings in class and thought that is a good way to get away with it.. Copycat style. A couple random tidbits from the Juetten case, Travis was vegan. Jamilyn had severe injuries She suffered 19 stab wounds, a fractured skull, a fractured shoulder blade, 2 fractured vertebrae, and some nerve damage, Since BK is a boxer he may have not only stabbed her but beat the heck out of her as well. There may be other cases that line up such as the Illinois one that would be almost directly on the drive from Idaho/Wa to Pa/Poconos.

of_patrol_bot

Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake. It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of. Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything. Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.

Jbrockin

Sorry bot, need more coffee

LivingFirst1185

I BELIEVE the palouse area ones were before he moved there. There is info on other sites as to stabbing victims and dates on other forums. I won't post links because against rules plus the s'poster who listed I've seen do vile things.

disindiantho

I’m curious about this too… IMO someone who can kill 4 people like this within a short time frame, planned out and targeted - highly probable it’s not their first time.

Sufficient-Region-27

Call me optimistic but I think the years of the “serial killer” are over. The DNA technology is too good now. You can’t even cough at a crime scene without investigators knowing about it. And if a random 2nd cousin that you don’t even know about happened to do 23andMe then investigators are going to be able to find you. And then there’s the cameras. They’re everywhere. Every small business, along every highway, vehicle dashboard cameras recording even when their parked. Ring cameras. The way Amazon and food delivery companies are going there almost going to start giving porch cameras away for free for efficiency sake. GPS operating in every phone and every vehicle even if you think you have it disabled. Soon they’ll have drones equipped with cameras flying around every city delivering products. And the technology is only getting better and cheaper. Bryan is described by almost everyone he knew as a “genius” and he still managed to leave behind a trail of DNA evidence and his car got caught on camera leaving the crime scene in small town Idaho. Ten years from now and he would be caught in the same area on 1000 cameras is such high definition you would have been able to make out the pores in his face through tinted car windows.

[deleted]

Years of serial killer might be over but random acts of violence or people not controlling their emotions is at an all time high due to a variety of reasons. People still act up knowing they're being recorded.

avegansnack

Very true. It makes me wonder if he was around 40 years ago how different this process would have been. It’s possible he could have targeted more people if that was his goal.

Fuzzy_History_1486

No matter how much he cleaned that car, they should be able to find blood evidence.

randomuttering

Maybe, maybe not if he changed and cleaned himself before leaving the house.

Fuzzy_History_1486

Usually they can find something but seems like they have enough for a conviction.

ps_32

What airport did he fly to? PUW?

tater-tots230

i heard something about pullman moscow. they said it was like 10 mins from the jail

Tay-tertot

nice handle and yes, it was the pullman/moscow airport!

yoloswag69420boss

One thing I was thinking is, if they connected the dna this quickly they would have had to found it in a convincing fashion. I think that it wouldn’t be like a hair somewhere or finger prints on the wall. It would probably have to be in the blood of the victims or under finger nails. Only other thing could be he left the cover for the weapon? What do you think? Do you think it had to be dna in a weird spot and not just about in the house?

Fell down that hole last night. Couldn’t see any dates from any profile of creation of account or playlists.

Brobeast

To all the legal people on here that happen to also be following the rebecca scofield v ashley guillard defamation case. Is it possible for the plaintiffs attorney to seek an injunction against ashley for continued videos claiming she's the killer, or does she have to win the defamation case first?

Fuzzy_History_1486

Judges can issue temporary injunctions on certain things if the complaining party can show a substantial likelihood of winning on the merits. Not sure here. But it's in judges' discretion sometimes to stop the defendant from doing more harm while the case goes to trial.

Traditional-Ad-7106

If I was advising the history professor I would not take out the injunction . Other than being costly , it stops more evidence. She has asked for a jury trial in the defamation case filed in District Court. The more evidence the better and this woman keeps on making videos - each one worse than the last. She also made no disclaimers ‘ alleged’ or ‘entertainment’ even then she could be held liable . This really is a landmark case which is why I am sure it’s going forward because I’m not sure anyone has the money to pay the amount of damages they could be liable for ( these cases are expensive and can run into the millions if they get Tik Tok involved ) so they answer is yes they can do the injunction but they haven’t because it helps their case . She will win and it will set a fairly important precedent and that is the point of the case .

Brobeast

Ok, that makes so much sense. Her matter-of-fact videos are just as you say, declarative and non innuendo. They just piss me off how sure of herself she is. She makes no reference to "readings" even in most videos, and goes on to describe events like she was a witness to all of this. (She even describes herself as a spiritual witness, and that can she can have us all arrested for obstruction of justice for impeding the investigation by harassing her lol). I would love to know what she's thinking, that she honestly believes a jury of idaho'ans are going to not make an example of her? Interesting tidbit though, would her deleting specific comments she made help/hurt her case? Some of these comments were statements where she point blank accuses RS of murder. Does that show any sort of knowledge that what she's saying is wrong, and is attempting to save herself legally? This was after the cease and desist, but before she was served. Case was filed.

Traditional-Ad-7106

As soon as she issued the cease and desist which was November , the lawyer would have a team on this and everything would be captured. Every comment , every video and if not it will come out in discovery through subpoenas- no comment will get lost . Don’t worry .Yes. I have been watching this closely too. Tell me , I am not sure how Tik Tok works , is she making a lot of money through these videos ? Is that HER motivation or do you think she is just certifiable and not of sane mind ? Because it looks like these last few videos she is lining up to be declared incompetent to stand trial . Something is wrong . Nonetheless she has done serious harm to this poor history professor and her family . Very very dangerous . This lawsuit is an important one so I do hope she goes through with it . It might stop people from saying whatever they want on social media ! Look how many people were accused of this crime before someone was arrested ? People were absolutely sure it was A or B or C or D ( and the list went on ) so much for the presumption of innocence 🙄

Brobeast

Is she making money directly through each video? Possibly, pretty sure you can tap into the "creator fund" after 100k followers, which she has around 110k (I could be wrong on that, CF might be 1Mill). That being said, her brand promotion is a pipeline leading to her books. One google of her name, and the amazon list pops right up. I think her overall play was going taboo to get max exposure. I think she very well much knows what's she's doing. Lady has a masters degree, served in the military etc. Do I think she has delusions of grandeur, god complex, and some sort of thought disorder? Yea, but I think her continued defiance isn't based in some delusion but rather that she thinks it's her god given right to say what she wants, and nobody can legally tell her no. She cites many lawsuits she's been part of, that she knows what she's doing (which I can't find online ftr).

Traditional-Ad-7106

Um… I don’t think these are real books ?

Brobeast

Real in what sense? As in lacking actual substance? You're 100% correct lol. It's the ramblings of a self obsessed person. But you can still buy them, multiple outlets too.

Traditional-Ad-7106

OMG go to ashisgod.com and read her latest - it is CRAZY - no the books - the LLC she says is her own digitial publishing company is dissolved and is actually linked to an apartment building website ( that’s from the state of Georgia ) so I think the books are self published , and some not written by her ( allegedly haven’t finished research) she has added her name to one - but go read her latest theory - wow 🙄 I better get off this train right quick

Brobeast

I'm so sorry, I completely forgot to mention her WEBSITE REFERRING TO HERSELF AS GOD 🤣😭. I'm pretty sure these are the ones she previously listed. And yes, they are all self published lol. Still a source of revenue. https://www.amazon.com/Books-Ashley-Guillard/s?rh=n%3A283155%2Cp_27%3AAshley+Guillard The longer you stay on this train, the longer the brain starts to hurt. The grammatical errors alone, as she's referring to her own divine being and intellectual prowess, is enough to make my blood boil.

Traditional-Ad-7106

I had to actually stop myself and question why I was getting sucked down this rabbit hole 🙄😂😂😂 i just feel terrible for those poor parents who now have these bottom feeders profiting from these awful tragedies. I did find the law suit , she’s not represented yet. She is about to literally lose everything but something tells me that only people with nothing left to lose act with such total disregard .

Traditional-Ad-7106

WAIT WHAT ?. Well there’s a twist. A bit cruel to use the murders of four kids to promote anything .period. Ok I’m going to deep dive this now ! I did see she said she’s been involved with law suits ( that’s never a good sign ) no one enjoys that . You have all good points !

gofundmemetoday

I can’t believe the FBI orchestrated those two police stops. Impressive. I thought it was fan fiction.

strawberrymoonelixir

This is just my opinion, but I think they were just a couple of Hoosier cops wanting to get a look at “THE guy” themselves. I can’t see the FBI ordering those stops, either. It’s interesting it only happened in Indiana, and twice.

Whatafuxup

Federal agents using police to enact traffic stops to gather information. literally happens all the time. Do you not remember the police officer who was shot dead on camera by the guy with the rifle after the US marshals had him pull over a suspect vehicle?

strawberrymoonelixir

Ah, gotcha. So, in other words, the FBI arranged for the traffic stops in order to get an assessment of the vehicle occupants, gage whether or not they might have weapons, as well as to ascertain their demeanor. That makes much more sense. My initial opinion was based on what others were gathering about the traffic stops. Obviously I was wrong. I’m trying to scrutinize fact from conjecture, but there’s so much in the mix. No, I do not recall the case you speak of where the LEO was fatally shot by a rifle, and I’ve racked my brain. I’ll have to look it up.

Whatafuxup

https://kfoxtv.com/news/local/video-shows-moment-new-mexico-officer-killed-during-traffic-stop-when-asked-for-rifle This was the highway patrol officer who was shot, it was the US marshals and Homeland Security using a local police officer to enact a "low pressure" traffic stop. sorry, i just remember it being big news since their tactic of putting that officer in harms way was heavily scrutinized. the idea is to attempt to gather information on a suspect without alerting him/her that they are actually being investigated for a more serious crime, like you said. Obviously in that case it was a very bad idea - because he was heavily armed and the police officer didn't really know the exact details. it's honestly a pretty dangerous tactic, but the FBI must've thought it was worth the risk.

strawberrymoonelixir

Thank you for providing the link. I’ll give it a read right after this comment. And I also appreciate all the clarification and information you’ve provided. Again, thanks. That’s really tragic for that officer. It makes me sorry he was put in such a dangerous situation, especially without being given preparation. Edit: to add, my heart sank when I watched that video, and it takes a lot to upset me (really, it does). Man, my heart goes out to that officer and his family. What a horrible deal he got. Also, interesting that it was in Deming, that’s where my boyfriend’s family has some property. We live way up in Michigan, and I’ve always wanted to see it.

LivingFirst1185

Fox posted an article. On one hand it's Foxand they have no morals about politics or social issues, but they did a fairly decent job with Petito's coverage.

stboondock

How does fox have no morals about politics? Or social issues? Where do you get your news? Facebook? Twitter? Do you know that the FBI Was in direct contact with the twitter executives during the 2020 election campaign? Telling twitter who should be banned or flagged? While I understand that the media is overwhelmingly in favor of the side you are on at this moment, how would you feel if it went completely opposite and you were in the 5 percent? Look how mainstream media portrays elon after he uncovered the corruption behind twitter. What else has the media you watch been lying to you about? The establishment is lying to you to keep you at odds with normal humanity. You dont need to eat it up, think for yourself. How much does 100 million dollar Nancy Pelosi care about you? She makes 170,000 a year, but is worth 100 million? Wake up, quit believing the propaganda, the swamp is the swamp and 95 percent of the media is behind it.

Whatafuxup

But everything he said is a fact with receipts. Twitter files are a thing. How is that aluminum foil?

mrwordlewide

Trump was leading the government in control when the twitter files happened lol

Whatafuxup

do you think the president controls the FBI? because that is definitely not the case. have you actually read/seen any of the files, and be honest?

LivingFirst1185

Wrong place wrong time. I try to get as much as I can by watching livestreamers who simply show what's happening. And you're defending a station who's lawyer directly stated in court their purpose was "entertainment" and their was no reasonable expectation of the public that their shows are accurate.

strawberrymoonelixir

Thank you for this. And though I absolutely agree with you regarding Fox News, I will still give that article a look, if I can find it.

LivingFirst1185

I recommend reading the reddit post as well. It has additional details from someone on the call that weren't printed in the article and provide clarification.

gofundmemetoday

Risky to pull him over on trumped charges just to look for themselves.

strawberrymoonelixir

True.

randomuttering

How do you know that?

randomuttering

Thanks.

babu1013

I am not saying he shouldn’t take responsibility. Of course he should. He should be under the jail if guilty. I’m saying if he is a criminal mastermind, why didn’t he have an exit plan? Going home to mom and dad?? He made mistakes. Big ones. He might be a PhD student but so what? What would someone do if they killed 4 people?? I’d get far far away ASAP.

IJustLost12Bricks

I think he’s gotten away with murder before and felt invincible/had a appearance to upkeep to avoid suspicion.

randomuttering

So you are saying if you were in his shoes, you wouldn’t take responsibility?

strawberrymoonelixir

I just watched [10 to LIFE](https://youtu.be/ZG2hepcLO1E) on YouTube where Annie talks about having inside information from someone related to one of the first FBI agents at the scene. She begins at about a time stamp of 51:00 with what I think, is a LOT of allegations that I haven’t heard before, anywhere. My question, in regards to one of the claims, is how would DNA evidence linked to BK’s cousin be obtained by police via 23 and Me, if 23 and Me prohibits divulging information for any investigation? I’m sorry if that came out confusing. If anyone has watched Annie’s video, please let me know what you think. I wonder if any of what she says, regarding wound details and/or the alleged knife sheath found will be in the affidavit, if it is indeed disclosed to the public. That detail regarding 23 and Me still just has me stumped. I thought they were pretty strict about not giving DNA info to police/FBI.

philadelphiaroll

They don't use 23andme. They use sites like GEDmatch which is a public database that people voluntarily put their data on. Every time people hear that the police used genealogical DNA research to solve a crime they throw the names 23andme and Ancestry around because they're so well known, but the police aren't using them. They're using GEDmatch.

greenvelvette

One thing I’ve been wondering is to bypass 23&me’s apparent policy, can’t police just submit a sample of the dna like they’re signing up for one and see who they match with?

strawberrymoonelixir

Thank you so much for clearing that up for me (and my boyfriend). I was so confused, because even Annie said this “FBI” contact dropped that particular company name (23&Me). I now understand they, themselves, were mistaken/confused. Again, I really appreciate you clarification. Much thanks.🙏🏻

Scuttlewitz

Oh

randomuttering

I concur.

Traditional-Ad-7106

That’s a big call to make an arrest without a weapon or a motive . I hope they have iron clad DNA

palmpoop

We don’t know what they have.

Tay-tertot

Fingies crossed. I'm so curious about what evidence they have.

NicheLilLeche

Can someone please explain to me what the abbreviation “LE” is in reference to? 😊

LivingFirst1185

Welcome newbie :)

janabzsan

law enforcement =)

Law Enforcement

RabbitHoliday5194

I keep wondering if BK has any friends - longtime, good friends. The few things I’ve read from old classmates and acquaintances make it sound like he was never able to develop and maintain close friendships.

Hot-Tackle-1391

yeah I’m curious about his dating history, if any

Tay-tertot

THIS is something I've been waiting to hear about. The kind of insight a partner might have..

ghost-at-ikea

I honestly doubt it... not being a hater, but I can say if one of my close friends or my partner was accused of a horrific crime, I would absolutely try to speak out on their behalf as soon as I could (unless their lawyer advised otherwise.) We've seen several people come out and I personally haven't seen anyone out here extolling this man's virtues.

LivingFirst1185

There was another user posted here or in the other sub about an article written by Fox from a reporter named Chris who interviewed 3 former classmates that might answer some of your questions. Very different from others I've seen. The poster was on the interview call (poster is a friend of the interviewer, has some sort of background with PI work). He says some things were omitted FF from what was put in the article, making some parts very unclear or potentially changes meaning, so he did a summary to add back the important details. I'd recommend because of this looking for the reddit post vs the Fox article. I'd send you a link, but just took Benadryl and I'm tired and stupid. If you can't find by tomorrow, reply to let me know and I'll post the link.

janabzsan

Maybe not girffriends at all !

Traditional-Ad-7106

I saw one girl on tik toc talk about him - she seemed really shocked .

achatteringsound

Does anyone know if the gag order pertains to the friends of the victims? If they wanted to do interviews at this point, would they be allowed?

TurbulentSomewhere64

Yes, they can speak as much as they wish. Applies to public officials and officers of the court.

achatteringsound

Thank you!

Traditional-Ad-7106

Friends have to stop if they become witnesses

Traditional-Ad-7106

Gag order only for court

grimmonstera

Does anyone find it weird that dad brings up the “shooting at WSU” in both traffic stops as a reason they are driving to PA? He doesn’t say “my son and I are road-tripping home to PA for the holidays.” I’m wondering if the dad’s pre-planned trip was just to go visit his son in his new state after months of living across the country. Show dad around campus, around the city, etc. But then plans changed when dad got there and Brian is like, “bad stuff has been happening locally dad. There were these murders not far away, and now this shooting! I don’t think we should stick around. It’s not safe. How about we drive to PA for the holidays instead?” And that’s why dad references being on the road-trip because of the shooting.

cutestcatlady

I don’t think it’s weird. They probably heard of it happening while driving and as a parent, his dad was probably in shock and happy that he came when he did/they left for their road trip back to PA when they did so Bryan wasn’t there and he knew he was safe. Probably thought it was crazy something like that happened to close as most people feel the same way when something big/crazy/unusual/horrific happens near them. The dad says it’s “horrifying” which breaks my heart… as I’m sure he felt the same way when hearing of the Moscow murders. Only to find out it was (allegedly) your son after SWAT bursts into your house after Christmas and takes him into custody for a quadruple homicide. Makes me so sad for ALL the parents involved.

ButterPotatoHead

I dunno I always get rattled when I'm pulled over by the cops even if I haven't done anything wrong. Remember that BK has been a college student for something like 10 years. He and his parents probably have quite a routine for getting to and from college and coming home for the holidays every year.

grimmonstera

But he was previously at college in PA his home state. Now he’s across the country. I know if my kid moved across the country for work/school, I’d go visit her on break to see her new environment.

Antony_NOW

the shooting at WSU happened after they had already left so it was unrelated which is why it is weird they keep fogging the situation with these comments each time they get pulled over-- seems like a distraction for BK

ghost-at-ikea

I found it super weird, esp. since these murders have been getting wall-to-wall press coverage and although there was a shooting at/near WSU, it was not a mass shooting and has received zero press coverage outside the region.
