Sapiens is worth a look
Demo played...awesome game so far. Definitely worth a try.
It will be interesting to see how much your Sapiens/Tribe can develop. Of course I want Rimworld level depth of getting to industrial age level of development
Not specifically from NextFest, but the ones I've added to my wish list are Lightyear Frontier (basebuilding+farming, but in a mech), Laysara Summit Kingdom (RTS style basebuilding on side of mountains), I Am Future (base building on top of skyscrapers in a post global warming apocalypse), Super Zoo Story (Stardew Valley with zoo animals+dinosaurs), Norland (medieval theme Rimworld clone), Outpost (tower defense kinda base builder) and probably a couple more I'll add later.
This has potential but is really buggy in its current state.
Current state being the new demo? They just updated it and have fixed quite a few things.
[Sweet Transit](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1612770/Sweet_Transit/) has a demo that I'm planning on trying this weekend. Been following the game for a while. I think it releases next month.
If you’re at all interested in the classic board game Go, check out “Just Go”.. it’s a solid introduction to the game.
Game looks cool and all, but I have a feeling you didn't notice what subreddit you're on.
I did.. it showed up in my NextFest list and I figured I would mention it.
This is /r/BaseBuildingGames so we're looking for those...
Oh snap. You’re right! My mistake. I thought I was in /r/GamingSuggestions

(ıf you like sandbox game type, you will also like these games.)
Sorry I’m new to this community and just dabbling in base building games. Why is this list getting downvotes?
These are some of the default suggestions on the sub for the last few years. OP asked about next fest 2022, stuff with demos this week. The respondant did not bother to read the question
Also not sure to be honest. The only reason I could thing of is, that Steam NextFest is all about titles to be releases. Not already released ones, so user is basically not answering the question.
The games are great nonetheless :-)
Urbek City Builder, new demo, but it had already a preview version
