Bought this at a near by antique mall for $150. I know it's some kind of explosive but what is it?

So I know console got new gun sounds with the update, but does the MG42 on PC sound like this? It sounded perfect before, now it sounds muffled and weird. Also the Browning sounds much worse than before as well, both guns should have been left alone.

Can anyone help me identify this gas mask? I thought it was a GM30 but the valve housing is odd, I've never seen one like this before on a GM30 or a GM38

Is this helmet American or British? It sold as American but said Doughboy on the receipt.

Collection Highlight #1: a HUGE SSh-39 Soviet WW2 winter camo helmet. It has one bullet hole straight through. Whoever wore this helmet must have had quite a big head, it measures about 30” around.
