If we lose then so be it. But this squad needs to go down swinging hard. I want to see fight in these guys. I want to see blocks that don't quit. I want to see hard hits by our secondary. I want to see a team that is pissed off and ready to kill birds. Let's go!
Work hard, play hard, shower hard, love gently
"Hot STUFF comin through!"
There's a spark in your hair!
We gotta be fuckin' triceps, biceps, arceps hard!
Love your flair!
It's nice cause depending on the comment chain I'm on it will say, "Never Say N..." or, "Never say Never B," which are very valid statements as well
Showering hard is hawt
Now this is what I’m talking about
There no way we lose to the ravens . This game just hits different !
I mean why kill birds? Ohhh Ravens... Got it
>When you lose like that, it’s nice to have someone get in your butt a little
He knows what he said
>“A guy like me, I kind of appreciate... [t]hat’s what he did. Today, we had a good practice, and we’re trying...through the rest of the week.”
Let's get in that butt, a lot. And hard
no no, play.
Did he stutter? Not nice to kink shame.
I remember what happened last time they "unleashed hell in December"...
I personally feel this december will tell us quite a bit about our hc
Lotta downvotes, so I guess I should explain. 5-8 in December the past 3 years. This time facing major adversity, a lot of tough matchups. Does this team step up? Or do they do what the 2020 steelers did, and suck after Tomlin said they need to stop sucking?
This is a big month
I blocked all of that out. The only Steeler related December football I'll remember is the day AB gracefully lifted that football over the goal line against the rat birds like a god damn Eagle.
Sure sounded good, though.
Maybe try motivating and coaching and practicing and playing hard when the season starts, instead of halfway through?
What an absurd narrative. They are coached and motivated all season.
Getting the shit kicked outta you sucks. Coming up flat after a shit kicking is humiliating. How will they react Sunday?
By coming up flat.
The optimist in me is saying that the season will have more positive moments for us before it’s all done.
The realist hopes the optimist shuts the fuck up soon
At this point, if we’re going down, I hope we take some teams down with us (especially Ravens, Browns, etc)
All I want is to be .500 or above.
I don’t care about record, I just want the team to be more competitive and have games be more high scoring and not a repeat of the Bengals game
I had to admit I've become kinda numb to the fact we probably won't finish above .500 and I'm somehow content with it if it means a successful future. But god frickin dammit do I hope we beat Baltimore and KC this year.
Yeah honestly same
I want exactly .500 to send the Tomlin detractors into a tizzy
Could maybe take the Browns down but the Ravens get the division easily at this point regardless.
I feel like the Bengals still have a fair shot at overtaking the Ravens
I feel like the Bengals are still the Bungles and can't beat good teams but we will see I guess. I was wrong one other time
Hard for me to think that with the way they handled us.
Have you considered that maybe we don't qualify as a good team?
I'm not saying we are. I'm saying we are in no position to say that they are still the bungles.
We can suck and still accurately say that they are the Bungles. They lost to the Jets.
Even when we are good we lose to a bad team every year. Why is it so hard to admit the Bengals are a good team?
I am just hoping there is something fun or interesting to watch the rest of the season. The Duck/ Mason season was fun to watch even if it was a disappointment. This season has been a weekly display of subpar football.
The LA game gave me my optimistic side
I get the pads … but did they play music during the practice?
Yes, that’s the real question.
Depends on the division of labor
I live and work in baldimore currently and had been talking shit all off season. Have to pass their practice facility twice a day… Tomlin, PLEASE get these boys in order
This needs to be a rest of the season thing. Can’t be ‘very loud’ for just the ravens and then go back to being average the week after. I’d love for this team to stop having rollercoaster seasons.
Back to basics, how to tackle
Also, how to stop the run, because if your safeties need to consistently make open field tackles, you have bigger problems than the safeties not being able to open field tackle
Should of been doing that last week
Called out twice for being soft, they better go down swinging… looking at you 55
I wonder how Ben feels about all this extra messaging?!
