Damn, this one was good. I love the ones where Jim and Dwight work together.
I just love how they both always dog Andy
It's Drew now
Yeah, I'm not gonna call you that.
Dwight doesn't know a single thing about bears
But he told me that bears eat beets. And that was a fact.
Bears beets Battlestar Galactica
He called me Nard Man. Nard Man is my father. I’m the Nard Dog.
Does anyone know how many nickity names Ace had?? 😂
Wasn't he also called Buzz in college?
Yes! 😂 He was Ace because he @aced” his classes indicating straight A’s, but Buzz because he got straight B’s! 😂
A-a-andy and the Tuna!
Sittin in a tree
And boner champ!
Wait, I thought Broccoli Rob was the boner champ
Broccoli Rob is Broccoli Rob
I’m not calling you that
As someone who changed his name at age 20(going by middle name instead of first) this always ticked me off about Jim.
Changing your name is fucking hard and awkward and most people don't do it for no reason.
I gotta go into work at Applebee's with a new name tag and tell all my coworkers, some I know better than others, that "it's James now".
My coworkers, friends and family were all super cool about it. Better than I was at remembering at times.(you always instinctively perk up when you hear your name and that instinct goes away for a longer period than I expected after the change).
Jim is just being a dick to Andy in this case, imho.
Edit: dick to Drew*
Yeah, especially because the new name was part of Andy honestly trying to be a better person.
The right response was for Jim to say "Sure, just don't ever call me Tuna again."
Dude. My first name is Aaron, and now I go by James. Same stuff, except my dad is less cool because *his* first name is James lol.
Call me James II lmao
So….did you change because of the way Key and Peele ruined your name?
You mean taught him how to pronounce it correctly?
To this very day I CANNOT hear or see the name Aaron without pronouncing it A-Aron…loved that bit, lol.
I know 2 Aarons.
They’re both tired of that sketch. Soooo many people pronounce their name like that sometimes and it annoys them.
It’s just so hard to stop though. I can’t see the name without thinking of A-Aron. I just can’t.
Now imagine that the substitute teacher (key) will be playing toad
I've done the same thing. That is going from first name to second.
However, if someone already knew me by my first I don't try to force them to call me by my second. I allow them the privilege to choose how to address me without myself feeling disrespected.
Everyone new I meet though isn't granted said privilege when I introduce as my second. I expect them to address me how I've introduced myself.
Like grandfather laws?
Lol I guess so
As someone who goes by his middle name, I literally have people constantly bully and harass me with my first name. People are just assholes, man. They always tell you to stand up for yourself but when you do you're suddenly the bad guy.
As someone who also changed what they go by (I introduce myself as a longtime nickname now) but don't correct people from when I was in high school, I have to ask:
Why'd you change your name, if that's not too private? If it is feel free to tell me so or just ignore the post.
He has it coming! Love early on Andy, despise him by the end of the show.
He was a good balance to the dynamic. A third party to bring the two together.
It's 'nard dog' thank you very much
Him and Dwight working together and driving to the clients to save the bids was my favorite.
Even them getting there and Dwight gets in the back because it’s “the safest place” then Jim slams on the brakes to make Dwights head hit the back seats lol.
Those two make this show. I feel like if they left and Michael stayed this show wouldn’t have made it as long as it did.
"Leave the keys"
You still do that?
Can we get an office prequel that focuses on Dwight and Jim's road sales?
With Clark Duke playing Dwight?
Hell if Micheal became less of a main character and it was just Jim and Dwight it could have remained the same. And watching them work together and eventually becomes friends is awesome.
Jim was going to be his bestest mench!
Same. This is why I don't give a damn what anyone else says, I still watch and enjoy the show after Michael leaves. Dwight and Jim suddenly start teaming up together and becoming a lot friendlier and it just warms my heart
This is how I feel. Everyone hates Deangelo but I enjoy his craziness and the look Jim and Dwight give each other is just the best
Bro I just dried these tears and now you’re making me cry again when Jim was best man then he’s like bro I love you but here’s somebody that helped us grow that we bolth love IM THE THE TOILET AT BESTBUY AND TEARING UP RN WTF
Funny stuff my man. You should do standup
>Here's my card. It's got my cell number, my pager number, my home number and my other pager number. I never take vacations, I never get sick. And I don't celebrate any major holidays.
As bad as the final season is, the last couple episodes where Jim is Dwight's #2 are pure gold.
I wanted another season or two with Dwight as Manager and Jim as Assistant (to). It was so much better than Andy as manager
He’s a natural athlete.
Typical Andy literally watching them slap each other and wanting in on it.
That's "Boner Champ" to you. Broccoli Rob was Broccoli Rob, Andy Bernard is the Boner Champ!
I aced all my courses, they called me Ace. Totally awesome, got straight B’s, they called me Buzz.
this one made me doubt anything he said about cornell
in high school they called me king tut because i can keep things under wraps
Isn’t it broccoli rabe—pronounced rob?
The dish, yes. The name is wordplay on it.
It’s not a dish, it’s a vegetable. Some call it rapini.
That's news to me, if it is
He 100% thought he was gonna get to slap Dwight.
He just wants to be a part of it
As a die hard fan, that was my first time seeing that. That was really good. Sometimes some deleted scenes I think "Yup... they cut that one for good reason, not A+ work." But this one could have easily fit in and would be a part of the legacy that is Jim's pranks. Solid!
Though does it not just work a little better seeing it out in the wild bringing back all the fun memories. You know what, it's about time you watched the office again.
Jokes on you, I’ve been watching the office all year on Comedy Central
I love that most people won’t even consider Peacock
Same. DVD gang
Peacock has the Psych movie(s), so I have Peacock.
Oh you know that’s right
It was complete dogshit when it came out, it's at least usable now.
I found a torrent of the office with all the deleted scenes spliced back into it and though they don't all fit well, most episodes are at least 4 minutes longer. Some much more. So, I don't really have a need to ever consider getting peacock
The only downside is the commercials but there isn't anywhere you can watch without commercials other than DVD
Waited for the office to go on sale bought the complete series on iTunes for $30. Figured pay $5 a month for one show or own out right for what I would pay in 6 months.
The app is incredibly horrible. Peacock earned their reputation.
I’m on to you, Comedy Central executive
Well, this is from The Office, not Die Hard, maybe that's why you didn't see it.
Right? Being a fan of Christmas movies doesn't really give any insight into The Office
Verrry comedically humorous
Most deleted scenes are just cut for time.
Also never seen this before. When Dwight slapped Andy I fucking lost it
"THE KGB WILL WAIT FOR NO ONE!"
I'm not gonna answer that
Who's there? 👁👄👁
I love Dwight’s side smirk, always
Everyone always talking about Jim looking at the camera, but Dwight’s glance here is just perfect.
Lmao. I always love seeing this one
No, but its unseen
When I put in the screening room, I bought three movies: Caligula, Last Tango in Paris, and Emmanuelle 2. Last two movies I actually watched in here Marley and Me and this clip. The unseen thing is all a rumour.
Some say it's still unseen to this day
This is an awesome clip, and I laughed hard, but I sorta agree with cutting it as well
I think this was a promo for the Olympics. I'm not sure it was ever considered for the actual show.
Now I'm calling on Reddit to verify or correct me with a source
Definitely has that vibe to it
I think there were a bunch of little promos for the Olympics like this one.
Unseen but seen by everyone.
"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."
- Lee Harvey Oswald
Shots fired...shots fired
"I miss 100% of the shots I take"
-Most of us
slap shots, surely?
Clip was worth it for the new Dwight quote alone
It’s a streetball rule. The team that makes the basket gets the ball back on offense.
I love how after Dwight hits Andy, the high five transfers it back to Jim who takes his shot.
Wait so does that mean that Dwight could never hit Jim? Or would Jim have to fail at hitting Dwight before Dwight gets a chance?
It's usually used in pickup basketball games. If you score, you get the ball back (be on offense again).
This should be in the show. I laughed.
This was a promo that aired during the 2008 Summer Olympics. I believe there were 4 of them, though I'm having a hard time finding the others.
Andy was already in the cast in 2008?
The Scranton/Stamford merger was in season 3, 2006.
I’m kind of glad it wasn’t. I definitely could have seen a slap game subculture cropping up amongst my friends in college.
You guys didn’t do slap bet? My friends and I had a great time with that game, my friend lost his tooth betting who was the first Joker actor. Super memorable.
I am 32 and my friend who lives across the country still holds it over my head that he has two slaps left on me. Been since high school. Been living in fear since.
You know he's just chilling, right? Waiting for the perfect opportunity. Sure, reminding you and making you live in constant fear is fun and gratifying enough but it's all just a fleeting temporary state of existence keeping the flame alive before he unleashes the reserved and unbridled fury
I literally haven’t seen him since high school but there is a video of him getting me really good in high school. Probably got concussed lol.
It’s all in good fun, but yeah I know there will be a day…
And it’s the fact that he has two left that makes it dangerous. When there’s one left, it absolutely has to be special. With two left, there’s an expendable one that can drop at any second.
Happy Slapsgiving, fellow Redditors.
Well, slapsgiving is coming up
How I met your mother?
YOU JUST GOT SLAPPED
ACROSS THE FACE, MY FRIEND
You mean Fronthand Backhand?
We called it “Slap bet”. Less syllables, easier to do on the fly.
Love a good Key and Peele reference
>betting who was the first Joker actor
I owe like 15 sleeps in total to 3 different people. I think I should stop slap betting.
...your friends in college *didn't* have a slap game subculture?
Safer than getting out of your car and dancing next to it as it rolls through traffic.
It's basically a worse version of the knock knock KGB joke, so I can see why it didn't make it.
No no, *make it, take it*
Imagine if it took off like "Thats what she said"
That smooth high five then slap though
I love how both of them always unite when faced against a dumber enemy - andy/gabe/todd packer 😭
Todd F. packer. Know what the F stands for?
And he’s a big William Hung fan.
This was a popular game when I was in the Marines. It was all fun until some dumbass boot Lance Corporal decided to slap our Gunny. Gunny wasn’t in on the game. We all got fucked up that night.
You might like that sub, then again you might not. I don't know your life.
Gonna use this one on someone in the next 24 hours, thanks for making my night
I really needed to laugh at this, thank you
Hope you're having a better day now, friend 👍
Husband made me choose between getting the Harry Potter book set or the office box set since they were the same price at Target. Seeing the deleted scenes has me feeling like I definitely need to get the office the next time he offers.
I absolutely love The Office. But I'd choose Harry Potter anyday, if I were you. They're beautiful
Is it normal that I can actually see Unseen Jim?
You must be one of the chosen...
I want to understand the rules to this. Like were there actual rules or could someone make up rules for how this game works?
Somebody forgot to staples the rule book to the inside of the game like a normal human being!
This line hurts.
Jim gave the rules in slang.
1. It's your turn until you miss or are blocked.
2. Game goes until someone has 11 points.
No no make it take it
i was expecting poopball
I don't think they're deleted scenes. I believe they're little skits that were aired during commercial breaks for the Olympics of whenever this aired.
This is great. I love the friendship between Dwight and Jim. You know deep down they are close friends who'd do anything for each other.
Dwight would be the ideal Squid Game contestant.
I am pretty sure key and peele played this game
The KGB will slap face.
* slap *
The KGB doesn't play wiz anyvun
The last slap to Andy was f* hilarious
I can see Jim
"You miss 100% of the slaps you don't take"
In my head cannon, Dwight was definitely in on this, and they were both just trying to mess with Andy.
Which makes this scene 100x better.
I played a similar game with my brothers growing up, we called it punch face. I feel seen.
It's so smooth
This is one I haven’t seen, very nice :)
This would have been fifteen times funnier if Jim slapped Dwight one last time after slapping Andy.
The KGB will wait for no one!
Slap Andy? Count me in! I'm a natural athlete, too!
Dude Dwight had it there when Jim raised for a five..
YOURE KILLING THE NARD DOG KEVIN
Make it, take it? I don't get it
In pick up basketball games, "make it, take it" means that if you make your shot, you get the ball back and get to try again. So in order to get a chance to score you have to stop the other guy
it's the same situation here.
I just love that surprised joyful look jim gives to Dwight before high-fiving him.
I really wish they had kept this in. It’s hilarious.
